Job Summary
Connected Operations & Validation Engineer for the Korean market drives operational stability and end-to-end verification of Connected Car services. Responsibilities include Monitoring vehicle cellular, wireless, and telematics performance; analyzing logs, CDR, and KPI signals to detect issues early; coordinating with carriers and partners to diagnose network-related faults; supporting incident response and service restoration; defining and executing end-to-end validation plans for new vehicle launches and software releases; validating connectivity, mobile app journeys, infotainment integration, and safety-related features; leveraging SQL and big data/cloud analytics to quantify impact, build dashboards, and present actionable insights to engineering, product, and business stakeholders; conducting structural troubleshooting using wireless traces, logs, and system metrics; contributing to post-incident reviews and driving improvement actions; collaborating with global and regional teams on launch readiness, feature design, and operational standards; seeking opportunities to automate repetitive tasks, improve test efficiency, and advance pre-detection of issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical/Electronics, Computer Engineering, IT or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 2-7 years of relevant experience in IT operations or Connected Car service development/operations
- Wireless, cellular, telematics engineering or related service operations experience (e.g., LTE/5G device and network testing, carrier integration, telematics platform operation)
- Fundamental understanding of mobile connectivity (voice/SMS/data flows, RAN/core network concepts, latency, throughput)
- Experience analyzing service disruptions using logs, traces, and basic scripting without relying solely on simple configuration tools
- Experience using SQL and data analytics platforms for troubleshooting and trend analysis
- Ability to communicate in business-level English with global teams
