Job Summary
Greet guests, solve their needs, and thank them for choosing Target while completing daily tasks like receiving products, restocking shelves, organizing the backroom, and arranging merchandise. Execute processes including changing prices, merchandise set-up, inventory accuracy, and operating power equipment if certified. Support guest services such as back-up cashier and digital fulfillment processes, including picking, packing orders, and delivering pickup orders. Maintain compliance with safety policies, adult beverage laws, and ethical conduct standards. Work in a fast-moving, physically demanding environment with a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- Welcoming and helpful attitude toward all guests and other team members
- Ability to communicate on multiple frequency devices and operate handheld scanners, and other technology equipment as directed
- Work both independently and with a team
- Resolve guest questions quickly on the spot
- Attention to detail and follow a multi-step processes
- Capability to remain focused and composed in a fast-paced environment and accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes
- Accurately handle cash register operations as needed
- Climb up and down ladders
- Scan, handle and move merchandise efficiently and safely, including frequently lifting or moving merchandise up to 44 pounds without additional assistance from others
- Flexible work schedule (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays)
- Reliable and prompt attendance necessary
- Capable of working in and exposure to varying temperatures, humidity, and other elements while performing certain job duties including but not limited to Drive-Up, carryout, etc.
- Ability to remain mobile for the duration of a scheduled shift (shift length may vary)
- If certified operate power equipment to move merchandise or store fixtures
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of guest service fundamentals and experience supporting a guest first culture across the store
- Experience in retail business fundamentals including: department sales trends, inventory replenishment, and process efficiency and improvement
- Experience executing daily/weekly workload to support business priorities and deliver on sales goals
