Job Summary
Gluer Operator responsible for stacking carton blanks, monitoring automated feeding, folding and gluing, inspecting for defects, packing finished product, palletizing, labeling, and maintaining production records in SAP/PECAS. Requires folding carton finishing experience (preferred), basic computer/data-entry skills, keen color discrimination, and ability to operate and troubleshoot machinery. Works with health & safety and SQF standards; must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and endure extended periods of standing or sitting with flexible shift schedules (8-hour/12-hour continental shifts) and potential overtime.
Required Qualifications
- Folding carton experience on finishing equipment strongly preferred
- Basic computer skills, data entry
- Visual Color Discrimination, the ability to match or detect differences between colors, including shades of colors
- PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Lifting up to 50 lbs; standing/sitting; use of hand and electrical tools
