Job Summary
Set up and operate folding and gluing equipment based on job tickets and approved specifications while maintaining safety, quality, and efficiency standards. Review job tickets for accuracy regarding orientation, labeling, quantities, and skid configuration, then monitor production to make adjustments for consistent performance. Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, perform routine maintenance and minor mechanical repairs, and ensure materials are correctly staged. Reconcile production counts, complete documentation and logs, and prepare for upcoming jobs to reduce downtime. Maintain a clean, safe work environment adhering to 5S standards and support team members across production.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read and follow job tickets, instructions, and production documents
- Comfortable using basic computer systems for data entry and reporting
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on quality and accuracy
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-based manufacturing environment
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and willing to work overtime when needed
- Frequent bending, stooping, squatting, and reaching
- Continuous use of hands for handling materials
- Repetitive motion throughout the shift
- Regular pushing and pulling of materials
- Up to 10 lbs: Continuous
- 10–25 lbs: Continuous
- 25–50 lbs: Occasional
Desired Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience operating folding and/or gluing equipment
- Background in packaging, printing, or converting
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
