Job Summary
Monitor and record cardiac rhythms on cardio respiratory equipment, reporting abnormal findings to registered nursing staff. Assist in delegated patient care activities, including activities of daily living and basic procedures, while performing clerical and receptionist functions for the work area. Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to provide quality care and achieve desired outcomes. Complete a course in basic ECG rhythm and recognition within six months of hire. Requires a high school diploma, one year of healthcare experience, and basic clinical and clerical skills. Works the first shift with no weekends or holidays.

- Successful completion of a course in basic ECG rhythm and recognition within 6 months of hire
- High School diploma or equivalent
- A minimum of one year's experience in an appropriate health care setting such as physician office, hospital, or clinic
- Must be able to work other shifts/units as needed
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Medical Assistant Program
- Successful completion of at least one quarter or semester of clinical work in a health-related program with a grade of C or higher
- Certified Medical Assistant through AAMA, EMT-B, or STNA
- Two or more years' experience in an appropriate health care setting such as physician office, hospital, or clinic
