Job Summary
Production Planner to develop and maintain detailed production schedules based on demand forecasts, capacity, and material availability; translate strategic plans into executable production schedules; lead or support S&OP processes; collaborate with manufacturing, procurement, quality, and engineering teams to ensure schedule adherence; optimize inventory (raw materials, WIP, finished goods); drive continuous improvement in planning accuracy, scheduling efficiency, and capacity utilization; support scenario planning for demand changes and labor/equipment constraints; maintain ERP/MRP parameters.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- 3–7+ years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations
- Strong understanding of capacity planning, finite scheduling, and production flow
- Experience working in an ERP/MRP environment (e.g., SAP, or similar)
- Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
- Advanced Excel skills; experience with data analysis and reporting tools
- ERP/MRP system proficiency
- Forecasting and demand planning
- Process improvement skills
- Project coordination
- Inventory analysis and reconciliation
