Job Summary
Own the end-to-end idea-to-stock operating model, translating business priorities into executable plans across Product Management, R&D, Clinical Evaluation, Manufacturing, Global Supply Chain, and Quality. Lead and develop senior leaders to build a capable Director-level structure with clear ownership, reporting lines, and decision rights. Establish scalable SOPs, workflows, and governance structures while implementing meaningful KPIs, dashboards, and accountability measures. Drive annual and long-range operational planning in partnership with the CEO and Finance, ensuring consistent portfolio management, disciplined development, and reliable global production standards. Identify risks early and improve prioritization, resource allocation, and issue escalation to scale the organization effectively.
Required Qualifications
- Significant progressive leadership experience across product development, operations, manufacturing, supply chain, and quality, with responsibility for multiple functions through Directors or other senior leaders.
- Proven success in a decentralized start-up, scale-up, private-equity-backed, roll-up, multi-brand, or similarly entrepreneurial organization.
- Experience building or transforming departments, organizational structures, SOPs, governance, KPIs, and operating cadences.
- A track record of leading global, geographically dispersed, or multi-site teams.
- Demonstrated success leading complex initiatives and cross-functional product launches from strategy through execution.
- Strong financial and business acumen across budgets, resource allocation, working capital, inventory, capital investment, and business cases.
- The executive presence and communication skills to build credibility with Boards, senior leaders, technical and manufacturing teams, clinicians, customers, suppliers, and external partners.
- A bachelor's degree in business, engineering, operations, supply chain, life sciences, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs

- Medical devices, surgical products, orthopedics, implantable devices, diagnostics, life sciences, or another regulated product environment.
- Product development, design controls, quality systems, clinical evaluation, risk management, and regulated product-launch requirements.
- Integration of acquired companies, brands, portfolios, systems, or operational processes.
- Private-equity-backed or publicly listed parent-company environments.
- ERP transformation, supply-chain planning systems, business intelligence, or operational-data improvement.
- Complex portfolio and SKU rationalization.
- Partnership with clinicians, surgeons, key opinion leaders, or clinical advisory boards.
- An MBA or other relevant advanced degree is preferred.
