Job Summary
Conduct independent assurance over the design and effectiveness of Global Treasury risk management practices, focusing on Interest Rate Risk in the Banking Book and Asset Liability Management. Lead annual audit planning, risk assessments, and execution across governance, model inputs, stress scenarios, and management reporting. Challenge the completeness and accuracy of Treasury metrics presented to senior management, ALCO, and the Board while providing technical guidance to audit team members. Communicate complex risk concepts clearly to regulators and senior executives, ensuring alignment with regulatory expectations and risk appetite.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in internal audit, risk management, Treasury, ALM, balance sheet management, or related financial services roles
- Experience with NII/EVE sensitivity, IRRBB frameworks, deposit modeling, behavioral assumptions, stress testing, and governance
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex Treasury risk topics clearly to senior management, audit leadership, and regulators
- Demonstrated ability leading complex audits, reviews, risk assessments, or independent challenge activities
- CPA, CIA, CFA, or other relevant professional certification
- Advanced degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, Risk Management, or a related field
