Job Summary
Controller position for the Global Transportation Group within Global Alts/J.P. Morgan Asset Management. Lead the financial reporting, accounting oversight, and internal controls for a large open-ended fund focused on real assets (Real Estate, Infrastructure, Transportation), including fund performance analysis, capital calls, distributions, and redemption processes. Oversee fund reporting compliance with Luxembourg regulatory requirements, Fund Documents, and US GAAP; collaborate with investments, tax, and SPV finance teams; manage vendor relationships; contribute to ad-hoc strategic projects and interact with senior stakeholders. Requires experience in fund accounting for open/closed-ended funds, strong technical accounting knowledge (US GAAP, IFRS, Lux GAAP), financial modelling, and proven project management and communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Fully qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA or equivalent) with post-qualified experience
- Experience in open and closed-ended commingled funds, limited partnerships, and operating company investments
- Knowledge of financial modelling and real asset valuation methodologies; strong Excel skills
- Experience with US GAAP, IFRS, Lux GAAP; valuation and accounting for investment entities
- Ability to manage timelines, lead client and stakeholder communications, and oversee third-party service providers
