Job Summary
Maintain applications in compliance with external regulations and internal mandates while managing assigned application servers for software updates, vulnerability remediation, and infrastructure migration. Execute technical recovery plans and provide Level 3 support for production issues, acting as a subject matter expert on managed applications. Lead and direct teammate efforts on project coordination, release planning, and vendor management to ensure SLAs are met and production stability is preserved. Monitor server capacity, performance, and application governance routines, collaborating with Information Security partners to resolve complex vulnerabilities.
Required Qualifications
- 5-7 years of applicable experience
- Solid knowledge of software development life cycle (Agile and Waterfall) and Devops practices
- Technical knowledge of Linux and Windows OS
- Technical knowledge of Java/Phyton
- Technical knowledge of Apache
- Technical knowledge of middle ware (IBM MQ)
- Technical knowledge of IIS
- Technical knowledge of Weblogic
- Technical knowledge of Tomcat or similar technologies
- Solid knowledge of databases (SQL server) and query processing
- Basic knowledge of networking
- Basic knowledge of application architecture and system integration
- Basic knowledge of environment administration (DEV, UAT, Prod/Cont)
- Basic knowledge of automated deployments
- Basic knowledge of environment monitoring (Splunk, Dynatrace)
- Project management experience: planning, scheduling, project communication, issue resolution
- Critical thinking and problem solving
- Excellent oral and written communication (English-Spanish)
- Ability to engage with Product and operations in technology discussions
- Self-motivated, proactive individual, comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and able to drive a project from concept to delivery
- Quick learner and self-starter who requires minimal supervision to excel in a dynamic environment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in banking or payment processing is a plus
