Job Summary
Develop and maintain technical solutions for Global Transaction Banking that adhere to engineering principles while ensuring efficiency, reliability, scalability, and security. Plan, evaluate, and design operational solutions in compliance with enterprise standards, acting as a subject matter expert for colleagues with less experience. Solve complex problems by applying advanced knowledge of domain frameworks, TD applications, and banking systems. Work independently with minimal guidance to support the bank's customer service strategy and improve partner experiences.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or Graduate degree
- Strong academic background (e.g., computer science, engineering)
- 4+ years relevant experience
- Primary skills: Spring Boot, Java, Python, OAuth2, Rest API, Kafka, Azure (or GCP, AWS), Datadog, Github Actions, Autosys
- Advanced knowledge of specific domain or range of engineering frameworks, technology, tools, processes and procedures, as well as organization issues
- Advanced knowledge of TD applications, systems, networks, innovation, design activities, best practices, business / organization, Bank standards
- Advanced experience, knowledge and skills in own discipline
- Works independently with minimal guidance
- Acts as a SME resource for colleagues with less experience
- Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions
Desired Qualifications
- Domain experience (not mandatory): Core Banking, Ledger, Payments, or any banking experience
