Global Trade Project Analyst

Job Summary
Lead and independently execute assigned global trade and ERP-related projects, ensuring delivery within scope, timeline, and quality expectations. Define project scope, deliverables, and requirements aligned with Global Trade objectives, translating complex regulatory needs into detailed process flows for Oracle Global Trade Management and related ERP platforms. Proactively track milestones, identify risks, and communicate status updates to leadership while serving as a key liaison between Global Trade, IT, and external partners during system configuration and deployment. Analyze import/export transactions to identify compliance gaps and automation opportunities, leading system testing and user acceptance testing for trade compliance processes. Develop SOPs, training materials, and process documentation to support continuous improvement initiatives and end-user training. Prepare operational performance metrics and analytical insights to support decision-making, while providing subject-matter guidance to junior analysts and cross-training team members. Support audits, regulatory inquiries, and advanced trade compliance activities as assigned.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- professional certifications (e.g., PMP, Agile, Scrum)
- Minimum 6+ years of substantive experience in global trade compliance, import/export operations, ERP systems, or project-based roles
- Advanced working knowledge of global logistics operations, customs regulations, and trade compliance requirements
- Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects and priorities independently in a fast-paced, matrixed environment
- Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence, communicate with precision, and present to senior leadership
- Rigorous attention to detail with demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and root-cause analysis capabilities
- Self-directed, proactive, and adaptable with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Demonstrated proficiency in cross-functional collaboration and mentoring of less-experienced team members
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools, including Excel, Power BI, Visio, Smartsheet, JIRA, or equivalent platforms
- Capability to write SQL queries and develop or maintain macros to support analytics and reporting
Desired Qualifications
- Advanced working knowledge of INCOTERMS and global customs and trade compliance requirements
- Comprehensive understanding of import/export documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, and Dangerous Goods Regulations (DGR)
- Direct, substantive experience with Oracle Global Trade Management (GTM) or comparable Global Trade Management systems
- Practical experience working in Agile or hybrid project management environments
- Advanced analytical capabilities with demonstrated accuracy when handling complex transactional and compliance-related data
