Job Summary
Global Technology Manager for Doctoring Components (blades and holders) to drive and expand Valmet's global offering of scraper-component technologies. Role includes managing global product offerings, leading product sales activities (marketing, customer testing, lead generation, and sales support), delivering customer audits and data-driven improvement proposals, developing regional Product Sales Managers, leading R&D projects to enhance competitiveness of doctoring components, ensuring global knowledge transfer, and participating in internal training and marketing materials. Requires a Master's degree in a related field, at least 5 years of international papermaking industry experience, strong client orientation, high resilience, and ability to work in international teams. Willingness to travel ~100 days/year. Location options include Jelenia Góra, Wrocław, Łódź, Gliwice, Świecie, Poland with on-site work. Valmet leadership principles emphasize taking responsibility, leading with courage, building trust, and cross-functional collaboration. Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in paper technology/process engineering or related field
- minimum 5 years of international experience in the paper industry
- good knowledge of cleaning processes (doctoring) on a paper machine
- experience with scraper components (blades and holders) is advantageous
- customer-focused mindset and selling capability
- strong analytical, strategic, and communication skills
- proficiency with IT systems (ERP/PLM/CRM; CAD tools a plus)
- willingness to travel internationally (~100 days/year)
- ability to train and support others
- ability to work in international teams and dynamic project environments
