Job Summary
Global Sustainability and ESG Intern at PIL Group in Singapore. Interns will gain broad exposure to PIL’s sustainability performance endeavours via the Global Sustainability and ESG division, with responsibilities including sustainability data collection and editorial work for the Sustainability Report, GHG inventory data collection/management, industry benchmarking of ESG practices, preparation of monthly upper management reporting on sustainability developments (e.g., alternative fuels, decarbonisation), support for ESG initiatives and outreach events, and drafting communications for internal and external sustainability initiatives. Learning outcomes emphasize ESG frameworks, regulatory compliance in maritime logistics, stakeholder management, and exposure to industry sustainability practices. The programme targets third-year undergraduates or beyond with interest in sustainability and comfort with research, writing, and visual communication tools.
Required Qualifications
- 3rd year undergraduate or beyond
- Environmental science / management, business studies, social sciences, maritime studies or any other discipline with exposure to sustainability
- Curious and self-motivated with a strong interest in sustainability
- Analytical mindset with good attention to detail
- Competent in research, writing and use of visual communication tools
- Comfortable with engaging stakeholders and active collaboration
- Basic proficiency in MS office productivity software
- Some proficiency in visual communication tools is an advantage
