Job Summary
Global Supply Manager responsible for sourcing high-mix, medium-volume parts and assemblies for Starlink Aviation, building procurement strategies, negotiating supplier contracts and statements of work, and driving make-versus-buy decisions across the product lifecycle. Role includes managing supplier performance and master data in MRP, coordinating with engineering, quality, and cross-functional teams to improve supplier quality, lead times, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery; developing supplier strategies, conducting comprehensive supplier analyses, and aligning with internal stakeholders to support aggressive improvements in cost, capacity, and risk management; requires experience with electronics/mechanical commodities, ERP/MRP systems, AS9100/FAA requirements, and the ability to travel up to 50% and work extended hours when needed.
Required Qualifications
- Advanced degree and 6+ years experience in Engineering, Purchasing, Contract negotiation, Material or production planning, Operations or supply chain management, Material cost control, Master production scheduling OR Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years experience in one or more of these areas OR 12+ years of experience in Engineering, Purchasing, Contract negotiation, Material or production planning, Operations or supply chain management, Material cost control, Master production scheduling
