The Global Supply Manager - Mechanical will be responsible for sourcing and supply chain strategy for mechanical commodities like machined metals and plastics, ensuring cost-effectiveness and scalability in support of new product introductions. This role requires strong leadership in cross-functional teams and a deep understanding of supplier capabilities aligned with engineering design.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in global sourcing or supply chain management for mechanical commodities
- Proven track record in strategic sourcing, supplier negotiations, and NPI support
- Strong understanding of machining, plastics, motors, and mechanical assemblies
Desired Qualifications
- MBA preferred
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle) and data analytics tools (Excel, Tableau)
- Excellent negotiation, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and fast-paced environments
