Job Summary

Support supplier quality and continuous improvement initiatives across a global supply chain by monitoring performance through quality metrics, scorecards, and trend analysis. Conduct supplier audits, process assessments, and risk evaluations to identify improvement opportunities, then develop control plans and performance indicators. Partner with suppliers to investigate non-conformances, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA). Collaborate with Manufacturing, Quality, and Engineering teams to ensure timely resolution of issues, drive containment activities, and verify corrective actions to minimize quality escapes. Prepare supplier quality data and reports for business reviews and management updates. Travel domestically and internationally up to 10% as needed.

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related experience in a precision manufacturing environment
  • Experience working with suppliers to drive measurable quality and process improvements
  • Understanding of quality tools and methodologies, including RCCA, CAPA, 8D, SPC, and process capability analysis
  • Knowledge of measurement systems, inspection methods, and quality control practices
  • Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and GD&T requirements
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively across suppliers and cross-functional teams
  • Travel domestically and internationally up to 10% as needed

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience supporting complex assemblies, precision components, optics, semiconductor, medical device, aerospace, or other high-technology manufacturing environments
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent certification
  • Experience conducting supplier audits and process validation activities
  • Knowledge of PFMEA, Control Plans, and Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP)
  • Experience using statistical analysis and quality reporting tools
