Job Summary
Ensure clinical delivery of assigned projects in compliance with regulatory requirements, ICH-GCP, and customer contracts while meeting recruitment targets. Accountable for project risk mitigation, clinical quality monitoring, and managing clinical aspects of project finances including Estimate at Completion. Lead clinical teams through resourcing, talent planning, and performance feedback, conducting regular meetings to support milestone achievements. Collaborate with Project Leaders to develop clinical delivery strategies for proposals, participate in bid defenses, and mentor new peers. Work as a primary Clinical Lead on global trials, attending site visits as applicable to support project delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in health care or other scientific discipline
- 5 years clinical research/monitoring experience or equivalent combination of education, training and experience
- basic knowledge of Project management practices and terminology
- good knowledge of applicable clinical research regulatory requirements i.e., Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) guidelines
- broad protocol knowledge and therapeutic knowledge
- good understanding of Clinical Research industry (drug/device/technology/etc.) and the relevant environments in which it operates
- understanding of project finances
- Knowledge of clinical trial conduct in addition to skill in applying applicable clinical research regulatory requirements i.e. International Conference on Harmonization (ICH) and Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and relevant local laws, regulations and guidelines, towards clinical trial conduct
- previous Clinical Lead (Clinical Trial Management) experience within a CRO environment
