Job Summary
Develop and execute strategic sourcing strategies for Cables, Connectors, and Wires to optimize procurement activities and achieve cost reduction objectives. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify suppliers, conduct market analysis, and negotiate contracts that secure favorable terms. Manage the supply base by monitoring supplier performance, mitigating risks, and ensuring compliance with quality, sustainability, and development KPIs. Lead tender generation for the New Product Development phase and provide mentorship to junior team members in sourcing best practices. Drive mid- and long-term price forecasts while supporting procurement excellence through value engineering and supplier development initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering or Mechanical combined with Business Administration
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement in electrical / connectors category
- Focus on supplier negotiation and contract management
- Outstanding negotiations skills
- Strong ability in managing internal and external stakeholders
- Experience in global role
