Job Summary
Global Sports Trader responsible for ideating, managing, and compiling a range of compelling markets for Flutter customers across 100,000+ Tennis events per year, including high-profile events like Wimbledon, Roland Garros, the Australian Open and the US Open. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to share insights and foster inclusive decision-making, create attractive betting opportunities, and maintain attention to detail in market quality. Requires strong Excel skills, openness to AI/emerging tech, and a flexible schedule (evenings, weekends, and holidays) to support a 24/7/365 trading operation. Background in trading or betting is beneficial; an interest in tennis is a bonus. The role is hybrid, based in Dublin with the opportunity to work across Dublin and Melbourne as part of Flutter’s Global Sports & Trading division, and includes a culture of learning, inclusion, and continuous development.
Required Qualifications
- Openness to learning and applying AI and emerging technologies
- Clear and thoughtful communication skills to connect with colleagues globally
- Strong understanding of Excel or similar software
- Flexible attitude toward working hours (evenings, weekends, bank holidays)
- Interest in Tennis or related sports is a plus
- Ability to ideate, manage, and compile markets for Flutter customers across large events
- Comfort with ambiguity and exercising quick decision-making
