Job Summary
Global Sourcing Manager, Connectors & Wire Harness leads end-to-end sourcing for cables/harness components, develops commodity strategies to reduce cost and improve quality, negotiates supplier agreements, and collaborates with engineering and contract manufacturers to influence design and manufacturing requirements. Responsible for RFI/RFQ/RFP processes, continuity of supply, risk management, and cost optimization through data-driven analysis of quotes and total cost of ownership. Partners with cross-functional teams to support prototypes and build milestones, drives supplier performance, and negotiates terms to enable strategic product offerings. Willingness to travel up to ~50% and relocate to onsite Costa Mesa, CA, with eligibility to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance. Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a related technical field and several years of supply chain/commodities experience in cables/harness/connectors, plus familiarity with defense/aerospace environments.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, engineering, or related technical field
- 3+ years of experience in supply chain commodity management of cables/harness/connectors/capacitors manufacturing, and/or sourcing engineering
- Ability to travel up to ~50% of the time
- Ability to relocate, if not already local to be onsite in Costa Mesa, CA
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. TS clearance
