Job Summary
Lead Verkada solutions design and technical sales for Fortune 500 clients across LATAM by acting as a trusted advisor to overcome objections and secure technical wins. Directly interface with customers from C-level executives to loss prevention managers to present the full product suite, including network security, LTE deployments, and cloud security RFPs. Partner with account managers to develop territory strategy, design custom deployments, and educate partners on the latest offerings. Author white papers and knowledge base articles to drive thought leadership while maintaining subject matter authority on IoT systems and Linux environments. This role requires regular travel exceeding 50% of the time, including domestic and international destinations, and is open to candidates independently authorized to work in Mexico.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer, with a proven track record of working with Fortune 500 companies
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Information and Computer Technology, Networking, IT Security from an accredited university
- Strong background in Networking: Experience with HTTPS/SSL, VLANs, TCP/IP, DNS, NAT devices, DHCP servers, Firewalls and software systems
- Outstanding written & verbal English communication skills in order to clearly and efficiently articulate technical matters with customers and partners
- You must be independently authorized to work in Mexico
- This role requires regular travel, estimated to be more than 50% of the time, including both domestic and international destinations as needed
- The successful candidate must be comfortable with frequent travel to support business operations, customer and partner engagements and team collaboration

- Entrepreneurial and positive attitude with a strong desire to learn
- Genuine excitement for software/hardware products, Cloud Security and IoT devices and can speak to how they work
- Industry certifications are a plus: AWS, CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, MCSE, CEH, Security+, A+, Network+, Microsoft
- Experience working with Linux systems are a plus
- Bonus points if you have previous startup experience
