Job Summary
Regional Security Manager within JPMorganChase Global Security will lead planning and execution of security programs at corporate facilities in the Greater Washington DC area. The role involves developing and implementing security protocols, coordinating with law enforcement and business leadership, managing the guard force, conducting security reviews and risk assessments, supporting security infrastructure projects, and providing after-hours response and occasional travel for corporate events security and executive protection. Requires 10+ years of security management experience, a 4-year college degree, strong risk-analysis and incident-management capabilities, familiarity with physical security technology, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of security management experience with corporate security local/state/federal law enforcement, or military
- College degree from a 4-year accredited university
- Hands on experience in performing risk analysis, identifying vulnerabilities, conducting threat modelling, and performing security reviews
- Advanced analytical skills, decision making capability, strong critical thinking and high degree of comfort in fast-paced dynamic/ambiguous environment operating with initiative from the strategic to tactical level
- Strong security product knowledge and investigative experience
- Attention to detail and delivery oriented, able to effectively plan and track to prescribed timeline, excellent follow-through
- Hands on experience in performing risk analysis, identifying vulnerabilities, and performing security reviews
- Experience in information gathering, tracking, and consolidation, reporting, dashboards, and presentations
- Knowledge of physical security technology systems and strong familiarity with physical and procedural security concepts
- Self-starter and motivated, flexible and comfortable working with multiple competing timelines and able to operate with limited supervision
- Effective ability to communicate in a concise manner both in speaking writing and leveraging Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Travel on occasion to assist with corporate events security and executive protection support as needed
- Be available for after-hours response to emergency incidents
