Job Summary
Monitor publicly available open sources using proprietary systems to provide a 24/7 tactical intelligence picture, tracking geopolitical and weather events impacting business travel and company events. Produce intelligence products such as flash reports, daily reports, situational reports, and travel security assessments to enhance situational awareness and operational readiness. Coordinate travel security logistical support, escalate security incidents and crisis events to leadership, and conduct check-ins on staff during incidents while managing intrusion alarm escalations. Requires willingness to work any shift including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with travel as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in security studies, political science, international relations, intelligence, history, geography, or related disciplines
- minimum two years of experience in private/public sector intelligence, risk advisory, crisis management or working within a Security Operations Centre setting
- Familiarity with Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) tools and/or access control and surveillance tools (CCURE, Everbridge, and Genetec)
- Decision-making skills
- Critical thinking ability
- Able to remain calm under pressure or stressful situations
- With or without reasonable accommodation, requires the physical and mental capacity to effectively perform all essential functions
- Regular computer usage
- Occasional reaching and lifting of small objects and operating office equipment
- Must be able to work any shift including evenings, weekends, and holidays to ensure the successful completion of work assignments
- Travel, as required
