Job Summary
Deputy Operations Manager for Citi's Global Security and Intelligence Center (GSIC) based in Tampa, overseeing 24/7 CCTV/alarm monitoring, threat monitoring, workplace violence monitoring, and traveler safety across North America, Mexico, and Latin America. Lead a multidisciplinary security operations team, drive escalation and incident response coordination, manage KPIs for the security center, coordinate training and governance with law enforcement and government agencies, and oversee vendor relationships and technology planning within a hybrid work model (3 days in office, 2 days remote). Requires 5+ years in security operations with at least 2 years in a supervisory role, familiarity with banking security regulations, and a Bachelor's degree (Masters preferred) in a related field.
Required Qualifications
- 5 or more years of security operations experience, including at least 2 years in a management or supervisory capacity
- Hands-on experience working in or managing a security operations center, with direct involvement in CCTV monitoring, intrusion detection response, escalation, and incident reporting
- Familiarity with banking security regulations and compliance standards, including the Bank Protection Act and Title 12 of the Code of Federal Regulations
- Background in corporate security or critical infrastructure protection, with knowledge of physical security and geopolitical risks in a global operating environment
- Demonstrated ability to coordinate with law enforcement and intelligence agencies across multiple jurisdictions
- Clear and effective communicator with the ability to brief senior leadership, government partners, and cross-functional stakeholders on security matters
- Bachelor's degree in Security Management, Criminal Justice, Risk Management, International Relations, or a related field
- Beneficial Skills & Qualifications Experience managing a security command center, including real-time threat monitoring, incident response, and threat management operations
- Proficiency with physical security technologies, including access control systems, CCTV surveillance platforms, and intrusion detection systems
- Crisis response experience, with a track record of coordinating cross-functional teams to contain and resolve security incidents effectively
- Bilingual in English and Spanish, enabling effective engagement across the Latin America area of responsibility
- Master's degree in a relevant discipline, or military, law enforcement, or physical security operations center experience in a protective security or counter-threat context
