Job Summary
Asset Management Associate role supporting a multi-region CRE loan portfolio (UK, Europe, APAC). Collaborates with origination, credit, legal, and middle office to manage day-to-day loan operations, review finance documents, and prepare recommendations for senior management. Assists in financial modelling, tracking deliverables, managing significant loan events, and producing monthly/quarterly/ad-hoc reporting. Acts as a primary contact with borrowers, facility agents, and external stakeholders; reviews waiver/modification requests and transfer calculations; coordinates development loan drawdowns and funding with third-party advisors and lenders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, real estate, business, or a related field
- Proven experience in real estate lending or loan management, with a focus on finance or real estate sectors
- Expertise in analysing complex financial data and creating detailed reports
- Proficiency in Excel and financial modelling
- Exceptional organisational skills with a proven track record of managing multiple projects simultaneously
- Effective communication skills, able to convey complex information to diverse audiences
- Collaborative team player, able to work seamlessly with cross-functional teams and external partners
- Resilient and determined, able to deliver results in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Skilled in prioritising tasks and meeting tight deadlines without compromising quality
- Experience managing both income producing and development CRE loans
- Experience with asset management tasks
- Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking
- Ability to prepare and deliver internal presentations
- Familiarity with loan-on-loan structures and cross-border real estate transactions preferable
- Commitment to delivering high-quality client service
- Enthusiasm for continuous learning and professional development
- This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
