Job Summary
Develop and execute Strem's global channel strategy to maximize revenue, market penetration, and customer coverage across the specialty chemical portfolio. Manage relationships with existing distributors by establishing annual business plans, growth targets, and performance reviews, while identifying, evaluating, and onboarding new distributors in priority markets. Maintain executive-level relationships with selected global key accounts, leading commercial negotiations and expanding partnerships across procurement, R&D, and manufacturing functions. Deliver annual revenue and profitability objectives by building a robust pipeline through direct customer engagement and collaborating with marketing and technical teams to translate needs into commercial opportunities. Manage an Inside Sales Representative and coordinate with operations, logistics, and customer service to resolve issues quickly and ensure compliance with pricing and regulatory requirements.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline
- 10+ years of experience in specialty chemicals, life sciences, advanced materials, or related B2B industries
- Demonstrated success managing distributors, channel partners, and strategic accounts on a global basis
- Proven track record of delivering revenue growth and developing new business opportunities
- Experience negotiating commercial agreements and managing complex customer relationships
- Previous experience leading or mentoring sales support or inside sales personnel
- Strong strategic account management and channel development capabilities
- Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Ability to influence internal and external stakeholders across multiple functions and cultures
- Strong analytical, forecasting, and CRM (SFDC) management skills
- Results-oriented with a high degree of commercial acumen and accountability
- Ability to travel internationally and work effectively within a global business environment
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship
- Must possess a valid U.S. passport, or be able to obtain and maintain one
