Job Summary
VP Economist leading macroeconomic analysis of the U.S. economy; produce regular research and deep-dive reports, project developments and provide actionable insights to stakeholders; organize and lead investor events and maintain external relationships; collaborate across regions and teams to deliver comprehensive economic research; communicate findings through business writing and presentations for research publications; analyze macro and fundamental drivers of covered economies; contribute to diverse client engagements.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D. in economics
- 1-5 years’ experience in macroeconomic analysis of the U.S. economy
- Demonstrated proficiency in econometrics
- Solid written and oral communication skills
- Experience with business writing and communication for research publications
- Intellectual curiosity, strong work ethic, and team player mentality
- Adaptability and ability to work well under pressure in a deadline-driven environment
- Experience producing research for diverse audiences
