Job Summary
Produce macroeconomic analysis and forward-looking forecasts for frontier economies; build macro models and analytical tools; generate regular research and deep-dive reports; collaborate with global economists to deliver forecasts and commentary; liaise with local markets (rates and FX) and credit strategists; interact with external institutional clients and assist internal sales and trading teams; organize investor trips, conferences, and webinars to strengthen external relationships; based in New York with exposure to frontier economies in Central America and the Caribbean; strong emphasis on quantitative skills, research writing, and cross-region collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- 3-5 years of financial services experience (global markets, fixed income, or economics) covering frontier economies
- Master’s degree in economics or finance
- Strong quantitative skills with proficiency in EViews, R, Python
- Excellent written and oral communication skills; Spanish speaking desirable
