Job Summary
Monitor assigned sectors and issuers daily, tracking catalysts, flows, and fundamentals to form quick, differentiated credit views. Break down earnings releases, regulatory filings, and disclosures into clear takeaways, while assessing news and macro developments for implications on spreads, ratings, and capital structures. Build and maintain financial statement models, perform valuation and relative value analysis across issuers and curves, and write concise, client-ready research notes. Communicate these insights in live discussions, internal debates, and client-facing conversations. Requires 3+ years in research or investment banking, strong accounting skills, and advanced Excel modeling.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years in research, investment banking, or another rigorous analytical role
- Strong accounting and corporate finance skills; ability to translate GAAP details into credit implications
- Advanced Excel and financial modeling skills; fluency with AI-enabled tools to accelerate analysis
- Strong writing and presentation skills; clear, concise communication under time pressure
- Passion for markets and curiosity about how industries and companies evolve
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency with Bloomberg
- Strong MS Office skills (Word and PowerPoint)
- FINRA Series 7 and Series 63 (or ability/willingness to obtain)
