Job Summary
Assist with the preparation of financial reports and presentations while collaborating with the accounting team to ensure accurate financial data. Support budgeting and forecasting processes by gathering and analyzing data, perform variance analysis to identify trends, and contribute to process improvement projects. Help maintain financial models and documentation for accuracy and compliance, and support compliance efforts regarding SOX and Internal Audit controls. Participate in regular business-driven meetings to observe and contribute. This internship provides training and performance evaluation focused on work attitude, communication skills, and knowledge within the Global Reporting & Analytics function at Huntsman's global hub in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Required Qualifications
- Students majoring in Finance, Accounting or related study
- Proactive individuals with ability to work in dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills with attention to detail
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong sense of ownership and willingness to learn
- The ideal candidate will be located in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Desired Qualifications
- knowledge with SAP / financial modeling is an advantage
