Job Summary
Own the update execution, meticulous maintenance, and validation of the highly critical, large-scale Global Capacity Planning file. Partner directly with various Business Units to gather, interpret, and integrate future demand and growth projections while communicating regularly with manufacturing sites globally to capture localized operational capabilities. Simultaneously manage multiple ongoing tasks, operational streams, and strategic planning timelines effectively, identifying data discrepancies or out-of-plan conditions early to resolve complex planning bottlenecks. Translate massive, intricate spreadsheets into clear, structured, and high-level summaries ready for executive reviews, driving alignment across matrixed internal groups including Finance, Manufacturing, Business Units, and Executive Leadership. Requires nine plus years of relevant experience in program management, operations planning, business analytics, or strategic supply chain roles. Likely involves significant travel between customer and Celestica locations.
Required Qualifications
- Nine plus years of relevant experience in program management, operations planning, business analytics, or strategic supply chain roles
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Data Analytics), or consideration of an equivalent combination of education and experience
- Advanced Data & Spreadsheet Literacy: Exceptional proficiency in navigating, organizing, and auditing massive, highly detailed Excel workbooks
- Must be comfortable maintaining meticulous data integrity within complex models
- Superior ability to break down vague or expansive operational inputs into clear, logical planning steps
- A fast learner who can rapidly grasp Celestica's global footprints, site capabilities, and internal planning ecosystems
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to present complex operational realities clearly to executive stakeholders
- A self-motivated 'go-getter' who displays high levels of initiative, flexibility, and autonomy in a shifting environment
- Excellent organizational skills to manage competing priorities and keep overlapping long-term planning schedules on track
- Strong understanding of data analytics, market dynamics, and manufacturing capacity constraints
- Likely there will be a significant amount of travel between customer and Celestica locations
