Job Summary
Global Product Manager for Low Voltage Dry Type Transformers responsible for lifecycle management and profitable growth of ABB’s transformer offerings. Lead market intelligence, identify portfolio gaps, define global roadmaps, and translate customer insights into product direction. Oversee the offer lifecycle from development to launch, pricing, and profitability; shape global go-to-market strategies, including value propositions, pricing, positioning, and channel enablement. Drive cross-functional execution across engineering, operations, supply chain, and sales to prioritize development and deliver market outcomes. Role supports ABB Smart Buildings across North America, Latin America and Europe, with hybrid work from Cary, NC or full remote for candidates located near major metropolitan areas; travel up to 25% (domestic and international). Applications are for a senior-level PM role requiring 7+ years of experience, engineering degree, and experience with SAP and Excel.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Electrical or Mechanical) required
- MBA preferred
- 7+ years of Product Management experience
- Experience in low-voltage electrical gear and transformer products
- Strong commercial acumen
- Availability to travel 25% (domestic and international)
- Experience working in SAP and Microsoft Office applications including Excel
