Global Product Line Manager - Cable Backplane Systems

Job Summary
Formulate and execute a strategy to launch and grow the OverPass cable assembly portfolio, including setting strategic vision, building roadmaps, and developing go-to-market plans. Drive new business development in global markets and existing customer bases while collaborating with sales, field application engineering, and marketing teams to facilitate design wins. Own the full P&L for the product line by managing cost, pricing, margin, capacity planning, and life cycle initiatives. Analyze competitor products to outperform competition and develop pricing strategies, while forecasting bookings and evaluating capital investment ROI. Fully target site KPIs for sales revenue, margin improvement, and design wins. This role requires 20-40% global travel for customer visits and product development meetings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, or Mechanical Engineering
- 2+ years of product management and business development experience
- Must be an 'A player', a 'high potential' performer, with a strong desire for career progression
- Well organized and comfortable working in a matrixed environment with ability to communicate effectively with cross functional, geographically dispersed and culturally diverse marketing, engineering, quality and manufacturing teams, vendors and customers
- Strong technical aptitude combined with business acumen
- Quick learner with the ability to manage new responsibilities in a dynamic environment
- Ability to influence change in thought and behavior across all functional groups
- Attention to detail
- Willing to travel globally and work in a global business structure
- Travel requirement (20~40%)
Desired Qualifications
- MBA/MS
- 3+ years of experience working in the interconnect industry
- The Strong communication skills
- Effective use of Microsoft office (Excel and PowerPoint specifically)
- Ability to integrate with cross-functional teams globally and a willingness to 'roll up your sleeves' to get the job done
