Job Summary
Lead and deliver key initiatives supporting Category and Function Objectives, including driving change in BCP, supply resilience, and digitalisation. Perform in-depth analysis of category spend to understand supply sources, supplier capability, and pricing barriers. Manage purchase of ingredients, technologies, and flavours while ensuring raw materials comply with sourcing standards. Partner with R&D and Supply Chain to develop optimal sourcing strategies and collaborate with Global Centres of Excellence to leverage savings opportunities. Support supplier relationship management and maintain the Vendor Qualification Program. This two-year Graduate Development Programme prepares high-potential candidates for leadership within PepsiCo's global procurement function.
Required Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills with an ability to build relationships with a wide array of people of different cultural backgrounds, countries of origin, and organizational positions including the ability to manage and align stakeholders within a matrix organisation
- Excellent project management skills with proven ability to execute and deliver on commitments
- Proven ability for excellence in numeracy and strong analytical skills with a high attention to detail
- Ability to work in matrix organization; handle competing priorities; influence others to meet new product schedule needs
- Possess strong business/commercial acumen allied with the ability to see bigger picture
- Hold a bachelors degree in a numerical discipline e.g. accountancy, economics, engineering, scientific discipline, business, finance, supply chain etc.
- Strong IT skills, including MS Office
- Keen interest in understanding market forces/factors influencing the demand and supply of relevant categories
- Strong interpersonal and presentation skills
