Job Summary
Develop and execute global category strategies across research procurement, data acquisition, and medical and patient services. Lead and develop global category teams, ensuring alignment to common standards, governance, and strategic priorities. Build and manage strategic relationships with research agencies, data providers, and patient services vendors while negotiating complex commercial agreements. Drive value creation through supplier optimization and improved return on research and data investments. Partner with business stakeholders to align sourcing strategies with scientific and commercial priorities, ensuring compliance with data privacy and healthcare regulations. Shape procurement approaches for digital, data, and AI-enabled solutions while embedding sustainability and ESG principles into supplier selection processes. This role reports to the Global Head of Marketing, Selling & Impact Procurement and requires a hybrid-first schedule with 40% office time.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Significant procurement leadership experience across market research, data licensing, medical services, or patient services categories
- Strong experience leading global teams and influencing senior stakeholders within complex matrix organizations
- Knowledge of data privacy regulations, healthcare compliance frameworks, and third‐party risk management
- Strong commercial, negotiation, and supplier relationship management capabilities
- Digital and data fluency, with experience in analytics, AI governance, or data‐driven decision‐making
- 40% of your time spent in the office
