Job Summary
Conduct internal and external market research to optimize sourcing decisions and support category strategy creation for global chemical producers and service providers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to qualify materials, identify value creation opportunities, and facilitate supplier negotiations for master service agreements and statements of work. Perform spend analytics to identify cost reduction levers, maintain supplier scorecards, and develop secondary supply options for risk mitigation. Gather data to build reports and presentations for senior leadership while updating supplier information in SAP. Requires a Bachelor's degree, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Microsoft Office; eligible for an annual bonus plan with a base salary of $58,000-$70,000.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business or related field
- Ability to effectively interact in a cross-functional team environment
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
- Effective written and oral communications skills
- High level of proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Must be willing and able to travel as business needs dictate
- Must be able to perform the functions of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Must pass drug, alcohol, and background checks
- Must provide verification of employment eligibility by the end of the third day of work
Desired Qualifications
