Global Process Engineer - Welding and Heat Treatment

Job Summary

Develop and qualify global manufacturing processes for welding and heat treatment assets, defining standards for facility integration, acceptance testing, and preventative maintenance. Lead investigations into equipment failures to identify root causes and implement corrective actions that reduce downtime. Deploy lean methodologies and Six Sigma principles to drive continuous improvement initiatives and optimize spare parts strategies. Coach factory manufacturing engineers on new technology introductions, fixturing, and control plans while ensuring adherence to established standards. Partner cross-functionally with quality, engineering, and maintenance teams to design reliability-focused processes and validate shop floor applications.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
  • 7+ years of industrial experience in manufacturing or quality
  • 5+ years of experience in a technical role (manufacturing engineer or similar) with expertise in Welding & Heat Treatment
  • Strong knowledge of engineering concepts and quality processes
  • Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and schematics
  • Project Management skills and experience
  • Fluency in English in writing and speaking
  • Valid driver's license

  • Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
  • Ability to coordinate and manage several projects simultaneously
  • Managed a cost center or P&L with a solid understanding of operational metrics
  • Effective problem identification and solution skills
  • Proven analytical and organizational ability
  • Deep manufacturing technical expertise
  • Has comprehensive knowledge of underlying principles, approaches, and methodology
