Job Summary
Define and deploy global maintenance standards for manufacturing assets, including facility integration, acceptance testing, machine health checks, and preventative maintenance plans. Analyze equipment performance data to identify failure trends, lead investigations into chronic issues, and implement root cause solutions using RCM, FMEA, and RCA methodologies. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design predictive maintenance programs, optimize spare parts strategies, and establish key performance indicators for reliability. Manage Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) deployment across plants and drive continuous improvement initiatives aimed at reducing downtime and costs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college
- 7+ years of industrial experience in reliability and maintenance of manufacturing assets
- Strong knowledge of reliability engineering tools and methodologies (e.g., FMEA, RCA, Weibull analysis, MTBF/MTTR)
- Strong knowledge of engineering concepts and maintenance repair methods
- Ability to interpret blueprints, specifications, drawings, and schematics
- Experience with Maintenance Management Systems
- Project Management skills and experience
- Strong knowledge of CNC/PLC programming, understanding Turbine or Jet Engine production processes, technology standards, and equipment selection
- Direct leadership experience of both professional and production employees
- Engage design for SixSigma methodology (DFSS), including, measuring existing machine capability, analyzing process requirements, and developing a strategy to maintain / improve process yield
- Deploy lean principles, including, 3P (Production Preparation Process), Total Productive Maintenance, Jidoka, PQ/PR, Takt Cycle, Standard Work, Value Stream Maps, Kaizen, 4D/8D/A3 Problem Solving, and Poka Yoke
- Valid driver's license
Desired Qualifications
- Certified Maintenance & Reliability Professional (CMRP) professional
- Expertise (5+ years of experience) in Total Productive Maintenance (TPM), deploying TPM pillars across factory assets
- Managed a cost center or P&L with a solid understanding of operational metrics
- Ability to coach and influence others and lead small teams
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
- Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact
- Ability to coordinate and manage several projects simultaneously
- Effective problem identification and solution skills
- Proven analytical and organizational ability
- Deep manufacturing technical expertise
- Has comprehensive knowledge of underlying principles, approaches, and methodology
