Job Summary
The Global Planning Director at Hexion will deliver best-in-class global planning capabilities to enhance service reliability, working capital efficiency, and operational agility. Responsibilities include executing global planning strategy, optimizing production planning processes, establishing KPIs, fostering cross-functional collaboration, and leading a global planning community. The role demands a deep understanding of supply chain processes, proficiency in ERP/MRP systems, and experience in chemical manufacturing operations. Candidates must have significant experience (10+ years) in supply chain planning and a Bachelor's degree, with a preference for a Master's.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in supply chain planning, operations, or manufacturing within global or multi-site environments
- Demonstrated success leading end-to-end planning in a complex manufacturing context (chemical, process, or industrial)
- Experience driving S&OP/IBP maturity and digital planning transformation
- Proven track record managing cross-functional, multicultural teams
- Prior leadership in implementing planning systems and process standardization globally
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field (Master’s preferred)
Additional Requirements
- Candidates must be at least 18 years of age
- Successful completion of a drug test and background investigation is required
- Authorization for the Company to conduct additional periodic background checks may be required
