Job Summary
Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders on talent strategy, organizational design, and people matters across the US, UK, Germany, and Singapore. Translate global business priorities into localized people strategies while ensuring handbooks and policies comply with local labor laws in each jurisdiction. Proactively manage union relations with the Pacific Media Workers Guild, negotiate labor contracts, and resolve disputes or grievances. Implement company-wide performance management processes, coach managers on complex employee relations, and drive retention and productivity improvements. Manage workforce planning, succession planning, and leadership development, analyzing metrics to identify capability gaps. Guide business unit restructures and major change management initiatives to ensure scalability and agility across geographically dispersed teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, or related field
- HR experience, with substantial experience in senior HR roles or HRBP positions
- Expert-level knowledge of employment law, labor regulations, and compliance requirements across the jurisdictions we operate in
- Substantial generalist HR expertise in the US with Labor relations management knowledge and experience
- Proven track record of implementing HR initiatives that drove business results and organizational transformation with genuine business acumen
- Proven experience working in multinational organizations across multiple countries
- Some national and international travel
- Some flexibility to work across time zones
Desired Qualifications
- A working knowledge of generalist HR expertise across UK, EU (preferably Germany) and Singapore (or similar countries – desired)
