Job Summary

Translate global design direction into commercially viable outerwear by interpreting seasonal concepts, color, and key item directives. Adapt existing styles, manage product updates, and ensure design accuracy while collaborating with Merchandising, Technical Design, and Product Development to meet margin goals and brand standards. Create cohesive product groups, develop technical drawings for tech packs, and maintain data accuracy in PLM systems. Coordinate sample acquisition, approve lab dips and wash panels, and present design boards to leadership. Balance in-season execution with forward-looking concepting across multiple seasons.

Required Qualifications

  • 8-10 years of related outerwear design experience
  • Bachelor's Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) or equivalent
  • Must have design experience and an inherent understanding of the design process
  • Must have proficient knowledge of Illustrator, Photoshop, Excel, Web PDM/PLM., MIRO
  • Strong organization, communication and time-management skills
  • PLM required
  • Must be able to multi-task and work across multiple seasons simultaneously—balancing in-season execution with forward-looking concepting
  • Must be able to create detailed technical drawings for tech packs
  • Must be able to manage library of artwork updates and CAD files
  • Must be able to manage virtual presentation tools (e.g., Visulon)
  • Must be able to attend and contribute to fittings
  • Must be able to review and approve lab dips, handlooms, wash panels and PP samples
  • Must be able to participate in development and post-proto meetings
  • Must be able to prepare and present compelling design boards and product reviews to leadership and cross-functional teams
