Global Operations Team Lead

Job Summary
Lead a distributed team of Video Data Contributors and Quality Reviewers by monitoring daily upload volume, retention, and error rates while conducting regular Q&A sessions on filming protocols. Perform audits on uploaded footage to verify camera positioning, lighting, and compliance with data privacy standards, then troubleshoot hardware setup issues and resolve technical bottlenecks in cloud tools. Support onboarding by verifying hardware specs, managing local lab equipment, and coordinating document completion and NDA signing for new contributors. Enforce strict data privacy protocols, track hours and submission logs for compensation reporting, and act as the primary contact for resolving payment discrepancies and contributor inquiries.
Required Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a Team Lead or Senior Specialist in BPO, AI Data Annotation, Marketplace Operations, or Tech Operations
- Tech-savvy with hands-on experience using multi-camera hardware, smartphones, or recording wearables
- Ability to quickly master and teach multi-angle recording nuances
- Exceptional attention to detail with experience auditing visual or data-driven deliverables
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills
- Comfortable hosting team syncs and drafting operational guidelines
- Comfortable working with distributed/gig workforce structures
- Comfortable operating in a high-growth startup environment
- Strict policy on moonlighting; candidates must agree to background check
- Initial remote/work-from-home setup
- Transitioning to a hybrid/office-based setup in Metro Manila (2 to 4 days per week)
Desired Qualifications
- Prior experience in AI/Computer Vision data collection, Data Labeling, or Media Production/QA
- Experience in hardware tracking or logistics management
- Exposure to working with cross-functional global teams (US and Philippines)
