Job Summary
Manage end-to-end movement of global shipments within a regional network, including ocean LCL/FCL, air imports/exports, and intermodal logistics. Own the client experience by solving issues quickly at origin and destination, ensuring on-time performance while handling exceptions and meeting internal KPIs and SLAs. Coordinate daily operations with partners such as steamship lines, customs, and trucking vendors, and quote and invoice client shipments with P&L responsibility. Participate in quarterly business review presentations and hold client operational calls as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, freight forwarding, supply chain, ocean carrier operations, or consulting
- Able to adapt to new technology and can thrive in a fast-paced environment
- Effective time management - be able to properly prioritize and manage a large volume of tasks
- Attention to detail
- Ability to effectively seek and receive feedback
- Effective communication both verbally and in writing in client facing interactions
- Teamwork and relationship-building
- Orientation towards working smarter and adopting best practices and standardization
- Problem-solving capabilities
- Fluent in English
