Global Operations and Resilience Architect

Job Summary
Global Operations and Resilience Architect to lead resilience across enterprise applications and platforms, collaborate with engineering, platform, and operations teams to embed reliability into delivery and operations, guide modernization efforts with automation and operational controls, define architecture standards, translate regulatory and risk requirements into practical guidance, and establish KPIs/dashboards linking architecture decisions to business impact. Must influence senior stakeholders, drive scalable, reusable solutions across business segments, and possess deep experience in cloud, distributed systems, observability, and regulatory environments.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in enterprise or solution architecture with a focus on resilience, reliability, or platform engineering
- Strong understanding of cloud platforms, distributed systems, and modern application architectures
- Experience working in complex or regulated environments (e.g., financial services, healthcare, or similar industries)
- Ability to translate technical concepts into business value and influence senior stakeholders
- Experience partnering with engineering and operations teams to improve system performance and reliability
- Familiarity with observability, reliability engineering principles, and non-functional requirements (e.g., performance, scalability, availability)
- Preferred: experience with resilience frameworks or regulatory standards (e.g., OSFI)
- Background in large-scale modernization or transformation initiatives
- Exposure to DevOps, SRE, or platform engineering practices
- Strong knowledge of architectural principles, design patterns, and SDLC best practices
- Experience with microservices architectures and distributed systems
- Familiarity with cloud ecosystems (AWS, Azure, GCP), Kubernetes, Terraform, and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills
