Job Summary
The Operational Excellence IE Director oversees global Industrial Engineering activities, collaborating with local leaders to drive manufacturing excellence and efficiency. Responsibilities include managing corporate IE directors' forum, leading cross-functional global projects for OEE improvement and budget control, establishing standardized analytical models for planning and KPI tracking, and driving manufacturing excellence through benchmark studies. Candidates should have expertise in industrial engineering, management experience, and knowledge of manufacturing science and operational management techniques. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential.
Required Qualifications
- B.S Industrial Engineering or Systems Engineering degree required
- Industrial engineering expert, extensive experience in semiconductor environment
Desired Qualifications
- Management experience as director
- Wide experience in manufacturing and operations management techniques
- Experience in optimization, tool modeling and performance metrics
- Ability to communicate with external and internal multi-cultural stakeholders
- Knowledge of Manufacturing Science (scheduling/dispatching, TOC, Lean, Push/Pull system, inventory management, capacity planning, etc.)
- High analytical skills and data driven
- Strong understanding of statistics, data analysis and problem-solving methodologies
- Ability to attend to details while keeping big picture in mind
