Job Summary
Develop and execute the Global Medical Affairs strategy for mezagitamab and IgAN, aligning cross-functional plans with clinical, commercial, and regulatory objectives. Lead end-to-end medical launch readiness, including narrative development, training, and advisory board coordination. Act as the primary scientific voice for internal and external stakeholders, managing interactions with key opinion leaders, patient advocacy groups, and regulatory authorities. Support the design and execution of phase IV studies, disease registries, and digital therapeutic evidence-based interventions leveraging AI and machine learning technologies. Collaborate with commercial partners to ensure medically appropriate strategy execution while navigating global governance structures.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in medical affairs
- Experience supporting or leading pre-launch and launch readiness activities in a Global Medical setting
- Knowledge of global pharmaceutical regulations and guidelines
- Experience working in cross-functional teams at the brand or disease area levels in country, regional, or global organizations
- Demonstrated business acumen and operational skills
- Ability to think strategically and tactically, with a strong focus on execution and delivery of Global Medical activities
- This position is currently classified as hybrid in accordance with Takeda's Hybrid and Remote Work policy
Desired Qualifications
- A Medical degree (MD, DO, MBBS)
- A doctorate degree in life science (PhD, PharmD)
- Experience in Nephrology, and/or IgAN
- 5-8 years of experience in biopharmaceutical medicine, with demonstrated experience in Global Medical Affairs strategy execution and cross-functional leadership
- Experience in medical affairs is required with a proven track record of executing global medical plans and delivering high-impact medical activities
- Global medical experience
- Experience in digital health, AI machine learning technologies in medical affairs
