Job Summary
Global Lead Project Manager responsible for end-to-end delivery of cross-functional pharmaceutical/clinical programs. Acts as primary sponsor contact at the project level, ensures adherence to escalation pathways, defines responsibilities for secondary project leads when needed, and drives on-time, on-budget, and high-quality outcomes. Manages financial stewardship at the project level, negotiates Con Mod processes, and aligns resources to timelines. Leads risk identification and issue resolution, ensures compliance with SOPs, ICH-GCP, and regulatory requirements, and coordinates across vendors and therapeutic areas to meet project deliverables. Strong emphasis on communication with sponsors and cross-cultural collaboration, plus proven ability to lead multi-disciplinary teams and manage complex/ambiguous situations. The role is office/lab/clinical-environment based with potential remote work as appropriate and requires advanced project management and therapeutic-area knowledge.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and relevant formal academic / vocational qualification
- 8+ years’ experience
- 5+ years’ experience in pharmaceutical industry and/or clinical research organization
- 3+ years' experience serving as a Global Lead Project Manager overseeing the clinical conduct of clinical trials
- Experience overseeing and managing a diverse portfolio of vendor types
- Experience in more than one therapeutic area is advantageous
