Job Summary
Design, build, and optimize global IT infrastructure across hybrid environments, prioritizing Microsoft Azure while accepting AWS or GCP experience. Lead incident response, root-cause analysis, and service restoration for mid-scale Azure operations, managing global networks including VPN, MPLS, and dedicated lines. Implement security controls, vulnerability assessments, and cost optimization strategies while maintaining rigorous documentation and governance. Collaborate with customer teams, overseas engineering groups, and external vendors to ensure stable, secure, and high-performance operations. Requires native Japanese or JLPT N2 proficiency, 4+ years of cloud hands-on experience, and one of the listed certifications. Work mode involves four days onsite and one day remote per week in Tokyo.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of hands-on experience in the design and implementation of major cloud platforms (Azure / AWS / GCP)
- Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform (Azure, AWS, or GCP)
- Japanese: Native-level proficiency
- For non-native speakers: JLPT N2 or above is mandatory
- English: Business-level for global communication
- Planning & Execution: Able to translate objectives into actionable plans and deliver reliably
- Analytical Thinking: Ability to analyze complex infrastructure issues and identify root causes
- Prioritization: Capable of balancing incidents, changes, and tasks under time constraints
- Presentation & Communication: Clear communication with technical and non-technical audiences
- Coaching & Collaboration: Shares knowledge and supports cross-team and global cooperation
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert (most desirable)
- AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional
- Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect
- 4 days onsite, 1 day remote per week
Desired Qualifications
- Azure experience is the most desirable
- Knowledge and skills related to major cloud services (with Azure being the most desirable), including architecture, governance, and security
- Knowledge and operational experience in Windows/Linux administration and hybrid integrations
- Understanding of global network operations (VPN/MPLS/dedicated lines)
- Strong troubleshooting, incident response, and performance tuning capabilities
- CCNA / CCNP
- LPIC-1 / LPIC-2 / LPIC-3
- Windows Server certifications
- Security+ / CEH / CISSP
- ITIL Foundation
