Job Summary
Global Investment Research Associate Research Analyst in New York responsible for preparing technical and research reports evaluating drug pipelines, conducting analyses of biology-based programs, developing clinical trial statistical models, evaluating IP and regulatory considerations, and communicating findings at biomedical conferences; requires deep expertise in biology and drug development, ability to analyze PK/PD, ADME, and pharmacology properties, and to assess commercial potential and payer considerations; travel about 10% to conferences and investor meetings; salary range $150,000-$194,000; travel domestically and internationally.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Molecular Biology, Neuroscience, Biochemistry, Biotech, or related field
- Three (3) years of experience in drug development R&D or biopharma/consulting
- Experience writing and publishing scientific technical research reports
- Experience with preclinical models, PK/PD, and clinical trial results
- Experience analyzing biology of drug and disease mechanisms
- Experience developing clinical trial statistical models
- Experience assessing patents and IP considerations in biotech/pharmaceuticals
- Experience analyzing drug candidates for FDA IND, NDA, BLA, and EMA review
- One (1) year of experience building financial models (income statements, balance sheets, cash flow, market models) by drug indications
- SIE, Series 86, 87, and 63 required
